This site is birthed out of the need for support from fellow Christians who have family members who struggle with homosexuality, same sex attraction (SSA), or same gender attraction (SGA).
My son recently decided to live the homosexual lifestyle after being raised in church his entire life and serving God in our church and even attending a Bible college. I believe that there is redemption and deliverance from this lifestyle of sin and selfishness if the person wants to be set free.
One morning while beginning my morning Bible study, I opened my iPad to find a verse highlighted before my eyes. This verse appeared in a version that I hadn't even read from before. I believe that this scripture is a Word from God for me regarding my son, and I'm clinging to the promises of God. The verse is:
Jeremiah 31:
16 Stop your crying
and wipe away your tears.
All that you have done for your children
will not go unrewarded;
they will return from the enemy's land.
17 There is hope for your future;
your children will come back home.
I, the Lord, have spoken.
You see, I was having trouble with just the first 2 lines of that as I had cried every day from the day he told me of his decision. However, the remainder of the verse truly speaks to me. He WILL return from the enemy's land. There IS hope for my son's future. God has never once failed me or not carried through on one of his many promises to me.
